Since many people consider Evince to be the best available option (according to myself and many others on forums), why not change Garuda's default PDF viewer to Evince (Document Viewer)? I think it will save time for new users by reducing the time spent on configuring the Garuda. I tried it and it solved the above-mentioned problem. After searching in forums online, I found that many people recommend using Evince (Document Viewer). This makes it time-consuming and frustrating to find where you were last time so that you can continue where you left off.

But it has a major problem: it forgets which page you were on last time when you close it and open it again. My default PDF reader was qpfview on my Garuda.
